Wood work can refer to such a wide variety of skills and craft. The majority of work I do, from basket making to bowl turning, is carried out when the wood is still green (i.e. before the wood is seasoned and dry). I choose to work off-grid, with traditional tools, ensuring my work has low impact on the environment. My main focus is in pole-lathe bowl turning and I recently featured in Escape to the Farm with Kate Humble on Channel 5, turning on a bowl on my pole lathe! Catch my episode here:
